Hollyanne is at school right now but I promised her I would post this card for her so she doesn't miss any deadlines that may be close.
I am really proud of my daughter for attempting color blocking. It's not easy to get measurements right and she did a pretty good job for her first try. She's participating in a couple of challenges with this card. The first challenge, the sketch, was provided by Sketch Girl and the color combo is from Colour Create. Her image is a digi image from Two Scoops Rice, I believe. She found it in a stash of images that she has.
She added black which I think is quite striking. The color on the bottom is the lightest color we could find that would still fall under Aqua. I hope you enjoy her card. Thank you for stopping by.

What a cutie!!! I do like the addition of the black and the fact that you used solid colors for each. Super sweet take on the sketch, thanks for joining us at Sketch Girl!
You did a wonderful job on this sketch! I drew the sketch and had a hard time with it! LOL Thanks for playing with us at Sketch Girl and I hope you'll join us again!
My 9yo daughter has a blog www.creativestuffwithelizabethbaird.blogspot.com (it's a bit neglected and that's totally my fault!) but she's going to start following you and hopefully some other young bloggers so she can get involved in some kid challenges.
So cute! You are one talented young lady! Thanks for joining us at Sketch Girl!
Do I see an artist in your future??? I think so Mom. It's really great that you let her take part. One has to start somewhere. Good luck!!!
