Tuesday Morning Sketches #72

Good Morning!  Sorry I haven't posted to my own blog lately because I have been busy.  Anyway, I'm here to share this week's card for Tuesday Morning Sketches.

I thought the sketch was so cute and I saw my Mom's card and wanted to make one better.  I don't know if I achieved that, but I think I did a pretty good job.  I wanted my flower to look like it was sitting in a window box and then I drew my own Christmas tree on the rounded part.

I hope you like my card and that you'll join us at Tuesday Morning Sketches.

Tuesday Morning Sketches #70

Good Morning everyone!  I'm posting Hollyanne's card for her today - we always seem to forget to have her set up her post over the weekend and here it is Tuesday and I'm posting before heading into the shower.

Hollyanne had a great time visiting her friend.  It was such a brief visit, but very nice all the same.

Here's her card for this week's Tuesday Morning Sketches challenge....

I think she did a beautiful job and I am very proud of her in that she took a long single stamp and inked it separately to create the 3 panels.  She did really well.

Hopefully Hollyanne will be posting to her blog, but until then, thank you for visiting her and we hope you join us at TMS.

Tuesday Morning Sketches #69

Hello everyone.... I'm posting Hollyanne's card for her while she's still sleeping away!  Lucky her.  LOL  Anyway she created this card for this week's challenge at Tuesday Morning Sketches.  She did make it for a friend of hers that lived next door to us in West Virginia.  We're thrilled because she and her family are coming to FL for a visit and she wanted to make Amanda something special.

I think she did a fabulous job perching "herself" and "Amanda" onthe white fence.  The sun is going down behind them and she even captured the beautiful hues of pinks and purples that tint clouds at sundown.  So creative!!

Catching Up....

I should've posted this card two weeks ago for Hollyanne, but I forgot, so I'm here now to make it right.  She made this for the Tuesday Morning Sketches challenge that we had on 11/9.

Here she featured an adorable image from StampFairy and the ingredients images are from a set called Lovin' from my Oven by Deedee's Digis.  She did a super job with this card.

Tuesday Morning Sketches #62

Good Morning!  Hollyanne is at school right now, so I am posting her card for her.  She didn't get it done until late last night and there is never enough time in the morning before school.

Hollyanne did a great job with the sketch this week, I am very proud of her that she figured out how to cut her paper and card stock so that it lined up properly.  She used the cupcake image from our sponsor, Meljen's Designs.  Please head on over to Tuesday Morning Sketches to play along with us.

Thanks for visiting Hollyanne's blog!  Have a wonderful day.

Tuesday Morning Sketches #61

Good Morning!  It's a new week at Tuesday Morning Sketches and my mom has a new sketch for us to play with.  I saw the image that my Mom was going to give me but then I saw the cutest little mouse ever who was hiding behind a strawberry.  This mouse is very cute, the hard part was cutting out it's tail.  It's much harder than you think.

I found this patterned paper in my drawers and I have no idea how it got there.  I like the pattern and the colors so I said "what the heck - let's put it in my card."  I hope you like it and I hope you play along with the challenge.  See you next week.

Tuesday Morning Sketches #60

Morning everyone!  I'm a little bit late but I still got my card in.  When my mom told me that we had to make homemade flowers I was a little anxious.  But I found a tutorial that made it easier for me.

Here's my card.  I hope you enjoy it.  I worked very hard on it.  I followed a tutorial on Splitcoast for a fan-fold flower.  The hardest part was getting it to lay down flat.

Have a great day and I hope you join us this week at Tuesday Morning Sketches.

Tuesday Morning Sketches #59

Good Morning!  It's another fun week and a great sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches.  The sponsor this week is Prairie Fairy and I got to play with this really cute image.  What do you think?

The color combination and images was inspired by my old dance studio and obviously it is green and purple.  It's also another favorite color combo.  I wanted to use these colors because Rhythm N Motion dance studio started dancing yesterday and I did this in honor of them.  They were so very good to me when I went there.

I hope you join us at Tuesday Morning Sketches.  Thanks for visiting me.

Tuesday Morning Sketches #57

Good Morning!  Even though I haven't done this in awhile, I still enjoy making cards for my Mom's blog.  I haven't been doing this because I've been busy with school and other things.  But maybe I'm hoping that I'll be able to keep up with my blog in September.  Wish me luck!  Anyway, well here's my card.  I worked very hard on it.  I hope you enjoy this.

I really like the image, though cutting it out was rather challenging.  I used my 2nd favorite color combo:  yellow, blue, green and gray.  Kind of a long combination but it's still pretty.  I mainly used Copics instead of using my own markers.  I like the Copics better because they have shade by shade of pretty much every color.  Shading is pretty fun, too, giving it shadow and dimension is also very cool.

I hope you enjoy my card and all the Tuesday Morning Sketches cards.

Tuesday Morning Sketches #54

Morning everyone!  We have another great sketch over at Tuesday Morning Sketches for you to play with and we also have a super sponsor called Deedee's Digis.

So here's my card...

I enjoyed making this, I did have a little trouble deciding on what to do for the scallop underneath my image.  Other than that my card was pretty fun to make.  Especially when my little brother joined me.

Levi wanted to make a Christmas card with a digi that I had on my craft table.  He had a lot of fun making it but he needed some help.  He got the idea of putting snowflakes on the sentiment when we were trying to use the snowflake border punch.  The punch part didn't work out but the snowflakes look good.  He saw snowflakes pop out from the bottom of the punch and he came up with a great idea.  I also think it's cute that he put a snowflake at the hippos ear - like Niecy on Clean House.

I hope you join us at Tuesday Morning Sketches.  Thank you for stopping by.

Tuesday Morning Sketches 1st Birthday! Week 4

Hi Everyone!  Hollyanne's mom here... She's still sleeping so I thought I'd get her post up, but she'll be by here later to fix it all up so this is in her own words.

This is the last week of the Tuesday Morning Sketches month long celebration.  We're still using our favorite past sketches but with an added twist.  We're also using a Christmas theme!  So here's Hollyanne's card and, like I said, she'll be by here to tell you about it.

Tuesday Morning Sketches 1st Birthday! Week 2

Hi Everyone,

I am posting for Hollyanne.  She's busy visiting with her cousin, so I said I'd get this done.  Actually she and her cousin Allison made cards to share with you.

This is Hollyanne's card.  She used an image called Miami from Inktegrity and did a fabulous job with it!!  She used sketch TMS #45.

And this is her cousin Allison's card.  This is the first time she's ever made a card.  Allison is about 2 1/2 months older than Hollyanne and they've been two peas in pod since getting together on Saturday.  She used sketch TMS #52.

Thank you for stopping by and leaving the girls sweet comments!

Raise the Bar Guest Designer!

Good Morning!

I was so excited when I got my Guest Designer spot on Raise the Bar challenge blog.  I really like the sketch that Miss Joni gave me to do.  I really enjoyed it!  I did bright colors because my mom told me Miss Joni likes orange, so that led me to use bright colors.  I found this really funky paper in my mom's stash - it's really cool!!

Well, I hope you enjoy my card.  I want to thank Miss Joni for allowing me to be a Guest Designer.  Thank you for stopping by! See ya

Tuesday Morning Sketches #47

Good morning!  It's another Tuesday so it's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches.  My mom bought me this image from our sponsor Meljen's Designs and I think this turtle is soooo cute.  Here's my card.....

I colored the turtle using Prismacolor markers and used this really cool paper that was two sided.  I cut out the turtle and put him on the base with pop-dots.  I think I did really good using all the colors in the paper, too.  I hope you like my card and I hope you join us at Tuesday Morning Sketches - all ages are welcome.

Thanks for stopping by!

I {heart} Challenges

Hi Everyone,

Hollyanne is at school right now but I promised her I would post this card for her so she doesn't miss any deadlines that may be close.

I am really proud of my daughter for attempting color blocking.  It's not easy to get measurements right and she did a pretty good job for her first try.  She's participating in a couple of challenges with this card.  The first challenge, the sketch, was provided by Sketch Girl and the color combo is from Colour Create.  Her image is a digi image from Two Scoops Rice, I believe.  She found it in a stash of images that she has.

She added black which I think is quite striking.  The color on the bottom is the lightest color we could find that would still fall under Aqua.  I hope you enjoy her card.  Thank you for stopping by.

Tuesday Morning Sketches #46

Good Morning,
Another Tuesday Morning Sketches card that I made to share with you.  The challenge this week is not a sketch, but to use your favorite color combo and glitter.  Glitter is one of my favorite things!  I kinda went overboard with it, but oh well.

I used a really cute fairy from our sponsor Busy Beauties Boutique.  As you can see my favorite color combo is white, brown and blue.  I hope you enjoy my card.

More Challenges

Hello Everyone,

I started this card last week when The Pink Elephant's challenge was yellow and buttons - but I never got to finish it and I forgot what sketch I was using - so tonight I was back to the beginning.  This time I used the sketch from The Pink Elephant and the color challenge from Raise the Bar (gray, yellow and white).

This was a fun card to make.  My favorite part is the frog.  But I have to admit that my Mom did help me with the idea of the lily-pads, water and sky.  I got my first Copics lesson.  I came up with the sunbeams and the idea of the button frame.

Well, thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy my card.  See ya later! :)

4U

Hello everyone,
I just got off school and my mom said I better get some of my stuff posted or I will miss out on the challenge.  I made this card for the Anyone for Anya challenge which was to put numbers on your card.

Is this not the coolest card ever?!  I think I did a pretty good job on it.  My mom didn't have any number stamps so I had to use pearls and I think the 4 came out really good.  I really like this challenge because I got to use Anya stamps which are some of my favorite stamps.  Hope you enjoy my card.

Tuesday Morning Sketches #45

Good Morning,
It's that time again, there's another new sketch on my mom's challenge blog, Tuesday Morning Sketches.  The crosses in the back were kinda challenging - I guess that's why they call it a challenge.  But this challenge I really liked because I found really pretty paper that had crosses in the back and that gave me a great idea.  Check it out...

I really liked the image, my mom and I used the same set from There She Goes stamps, who is our sponsor this week.  I hope you join us!  Thanks for visiting me and leaving me comments.

Challenges, Challenges and more Challenges

Good Morning,
I had a really fun time crafting with my mom this past weekend.  We went blurfing for some fun challenges to try - these are two of them that I did.

For this first card I played along with Just Cute Bears challenge to create a multi-fold card.  I watched a couple of You Tube videos on how to make a Spring card.  My mom helped me, but she kept getting irritated with it.  I think it came out really pretty.  I made this for my mom for Mother's Day.

This next card I made to play along with Just Us Girls which was to make a pocket card.

I made a diaper fold card following a tutorial on Splitcoast.

Here's the inside of the card.  The name is kinda weird but it does make a good card.

Thanks for stopping by!

A little boy named Morgan

Good Morning everybody.  Happy Mother's Day!

I had a great time last night hanging out with my mom in the craft room.  I made 3 or 4 cards for challenges.  The one I am sharing with you today is for a challenge blog that belongs to a 9 year old boy, Little Hands do Crafts.  His challenge this month is Nature.  So I went with flowers, I hope that counts.

I kinda went overboard with the flowers, but I think it looks good.  I was very surprised that a 9 year old can make so beautiful cards.  This boy is named Morgan, check out his blog, he's got a lot of good stuff.

Tuesday Morning Sketches

Hello Everyone.  Since little Miss Hollyanne has been very busy these past few days...she's getting ready for a Strings Concert next weekend she didn't post her card for Tuesday Morning Sketches, so mom has to step in and do it for her.

I'm not sure what she'd say about her card, so I'll leave it at this by posting the picture.  I hope you join us at Tuesday Morning Sketches.

good morning

Hello everyone,
This is another one of my cards I have  made I hope you like it. As usual I threw it together last night. My mom said it makes her sick because she takes forever to make a card so awesome, like she always does great and I take about one third of the evening to do something she says is fab.

This card sketch was made by my aunt at My Sassy Cards.  I hope you join  us over at Tuesday Morning Sketches.  And I would really appreciate it if you became one of my followers.

Tuesday Morning Sketches #41

Good morning,
Today is tuesday and I have a card I would like to share with you. I had just made this card on Monday at about 6:30. It didn't take me long but I think I did a pretty good job with it. Let me know what you think!

I created this card using a stamp from CC Designs I colored it using Copics and Prismacolor markers.  The paper is from Making Memories (I think).  The bling I found in my Mom's stash.  I hope you join us over at Tuesday Morning Sketches - it's a lot of fun!  Thanks for visiting me.

So today, I'm really 12!

Good Morning Everyone!  Today is my birthday, so now I'm really 12.  I made this card for my Mom's challenge blog Tuesday Morning Sketches.  She put me on as a junior DT member!

Thank you for visiting me today.

You're a Nut!

Happy Saturday!

I played along with The Sweet Stop sketch challenge today.  It took me awhile to figure out what I wanted but I finally got it and it looks awesome!  I hope you like it, too.

It's amazing what a few dots can do.  All I did was color in the eyes with a black marker and then put a white dot with a white gel pen for a shine and it made the squirrel look real.

Introducing myself...

Hi, I'm Hollyanne. I am a 12 year old stamper. I also love to dance, I play the violin at school and I love to text my friends.

I decided to start a blog of my own so I can play along with challenges and because I wanted to share the things I create with friends and family. Here's one of my most recent cards...

I made this card for my Mom's challenge blog, Tuesday Morning Sketches, using a very pretty image from Stitchy Bear Stamps.

Thanks for stopping by!
